LUCAS RESNICK l Editor in Chef 

Lucas Resnik graduated from the University of Washington with a bachelor’s degree making the transition to journalism 2 years after his graduation. He has been working for The Viking Times for 18 years, starting at the age of 24 as a gossip columnist. Lucas has been serving as Editor in Chief for 5 years, and has covered major world events such as the 2016 and 2020 elections.

JOHN TREADWELL l Pollster 

John Treadwell is 37 years old and was born in Nevada. He studied journalism and graduated from Cornell in 2007 at the age of 23. John enjoyed the passion for writing so much that he has worked in the journalism business for over 12 years and just recently started focusing on polls 4 years ago. He has worked for the New York Times and now works at The Viking Times and is excited to continue his writing career with them.

MAYA BLANKS l Columnist l Pundit l Journalist

Maya Blanks grew up in Brooklyn, New York surrounded by a loving community. She studied journalism at Penn University and graduated in 2009. She has worked for CNN News Channel as one of their pundit journalists for about 4 years. Her strong passion for new and upcoming news brought her on to the Viking Times team and she is thrilled to work with such a brilliant group.  

EVAN SPORKIN l Columnist l Pundit l Journalist

Evan Sporkin is 43 years old and was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Evan graduated from USC with a degree in Journalism in the class of 2001. Out of college, Evan worked as a columnist for the New York Times and 5 years later began writing opinion articles for the LA Times. 13 years later, Evan left the LA Times and began writing opinion articles for The Viking Times.

HENNESSY SAHABA l Anchor l Journalist

Hennessy Sahba is 39 years old and was born in Manhattan, New York. Hennessey graduated from UC San Diego with a degree in communications and a masters in journalism. Once out of college, Hennessey worked alongside media professionals at CNN, before taking the position of a political news anchor for the company years later. He also wrote several articles for the Washington Post, and contributed to the company's success. 

CLARA MATTICK l Webmaster l Social Media Manager

Clara Mattick is 38 years old and was born in Portland, Oregon. She graduated for University of California, Los Angeles, double majoring in digital marketing and web design. Landing her first job out of college, she worked for the Orange County Register for 5 years, managing their website and publishing stories. Deciding to leave the Orange County Register, wanting to focus on managing social media as well, she began working for The Viking Times where she could express all of her creative talents.
